Day 1 - Your Middle Name and How you Feel About It
I think it gives a good ring…ish to the overall name I got xD. err… Well, I think its nothing special since its a pretty generic name, and to be honest, my whole freakin name is generic haha. I mean who hasn’t met an Asian dude with Nguyen? Heck there’s even a guy named Nguyen Nguyen. But yea
life is unfair. you put someone first who puts you second. you study your ass off for a final only to get a 'b' in the class when you deserved an 'a'. you give 110% to someone in a relationship when they only give 40%. you're there for your best friend at 3 am when they need it the most and the next day they don't pick up their phone. you give something your all and sometimes get little to nothing back. you care so much about someone who doesn't care enough about you to say 'hi' once in a while. you give someone your time and they give you: "sorry, i'm busy". it seems like you're giving everyone everything and they're just walking away with it.
Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They’ll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are not looking merely for a girl/boyfriend - you are looking for your life partner. Perhaps you should be more open-minded about who you spend time with. The person you are looking for might hide their charm under their exterior.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.
Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:
You’re a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you’ll be set for life.
How do you view success:
Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.
What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
“When someone stops making time for you there’s no use in wasting your time on them. You didn’t leave them, you did what’s best for you, and still trying to keep them close to you when you’re far away, doesn’t mean you have to loose your pride and let the guilt eat you up. Don’t let them bring you down for leaving, you were the one who chose to try, and they gave up.”—(via x-hong)
I always ponder, my blank gaze reaching towards the horizon, thinking deep in my thoughts… What is it like after high school? Will the friends who has been with me through ups and downs be the one I’ll be hanging out with during my College life? All these questions still exist in my mind, haunting me everyday. The passing moments tells a tale of a future mystery, maybe we were just too ignorant to take notice of it, letting time sweep through without a second’s notice. I heard from a certain someone, that “after high school you will begin to know who your real friends are” and those who didn’t give a fuck enough to be by your side.
When I hear stories of people travelling together with their close friends, enjoying the world as we know it. Sightseeing through the great beyonds… I really wonder if it will happen with us one day? I couldn’t imagine a life where I have to spend my time traveling and doing things just by myself, I’d hate to see myself in that position years from now. I’d rather be with people I know, flipping the page of the world. Chapter by chapter, and sections by sections, and by doing so, we create these memories. Memories that gives us peace of mind and laughter and joy from within.
But here I am, sitting in the middle of the hallway, on my desktop, typing and thinking about what will be. With friends that means a lot to me, and a life I’m pretty content with so far. “How long will this keep up?” I asked myself. The future holds many surprises, good and bad, but its our perception on things that leads us to what we think of the situation. In hopes of a better tomorrow, I sit here with the pen of my life, writing, and clock still ticking.
